When doing outdoor activities or simply living in a colder climate, its important to have the right clothing. The wrong jacket can really leave you feeling cold, damp, and irritated, especially if it doesn’t fit right. Here is a review of the RefrigiWear Puffer Jacket and how it stands up to being worn in the outdoors.

Verdict
The RefrigiWear Puffer Jacket definitely looks great. It is an understated and simple design that you can wear for any situation or occasion, whether hiking in the fall or making the trek to the office. There could have been some more variety in the colour options, but black is a good standard colour to have. The fit is quite comfortable and the design gives great movement freedom. It doesn’t have that uncomfortable over the top puffiness that some jackets have, leaving you frustrated in your movements. You could sit in this jacket all day and be perfectly happy. The higher collar protects your neck from chill winds and can even be pulled up as a face protector if needed.
The zip pockets are much preferred to non-zips, as the slippery material can lead to keys or phones sliding out quite easily, though trying to work zips with numb fingers can be a challenge at times. Still, the extra security of the pockets comes in handy. They are quite sizeable pockets too, so if you forget your gloves, they are a welcome alternative.
The internal design of the jacket keeps you warm and comfortable. There are comfort stretch designs on the sleeves and waist that stop any draughts and keep the fit nice and tight.
There’s really nothing to fault this jacket on. It is well made and the design works for what the jacket is made to do. They have kept it conservative, while still making sure that it insulates well against the cold. For the $90 asking price, this jacket does the job. I would recommend this jacket for the fit and how comfortable it actually is to wear. And if you are looking for a jacket that will really last, this one is worth the price for warm, durable, winter wear.
