Any snowshoers or ski tourers in Vancouver will likely be familiar with the Elfin Lakes trail. This is a personal favorite for many because of its easy access and spectacular views. The trail is 11km, and will take around 4-5 hours, each way (with great variability depending on conditions).

The Stawamus Chief is one of the most popular hiking trails around Vancouver and is also a popular rock climbing site. Simply referred to as the ‘The Chief’, this hike is located in Squamish in the Stawamus Chief Provincial Park.
