MEC has posted the three winners from their Sweetspots Outdoor Video contest. The winning video, Scrambling With Sasquatches, is below and you can go to the website to see the other finalists.

Also, Nike ACG has been featuring their sponsored athletes at various “sweetspots” from around the world. The latest sweetspot features skiiers and snowboarders in Golden. Check it out below:

The Nike + Human Race is the world’s largest single day running event, taking place in 25 cities across the globe. The event takes place this Sunday, Aug 31, downtown. The race starts at the corner of Georgia and Cambie and goes around the seawall. The race starts at 7pm, and there will be an after party / bbq, with live music (the Trews & Theory of a Deadman), and footage of the race from a few of the other participating cities. You can still register.
