I don’t know if you guys have seen the ads on TV for this, but the event looks like it should be a lot of fun. “This year’s Red Bull Soapbox Race takes place in Vancouver, BC on September 7, 2008. Teams of up to 4 per team will race down a 520-metre long racing course while competing for Soapbox Race fame.”
60 teams will race down W. 4th in Kits, from Vine to Burrard. Teams are judged on creativity, speed, and showmanship. You can view the hilarious video “Corey Blade Preps for Red Bull Soap Box race Vancouver” below:
